DONATIONS

The UN Committee of New Canaan seeks to serve our local community by providing nationally and internationally respected speakers in New Canaan on international topics of current and historical interest and by working in Fairfield County to assist humanitarian efforts that supplement programs of the United Nations and the United States in countries abroad. Please see the Projects and Events sections of this site for more information regarding our speakers and other programs.

Funding of our efforts comes from donations from the public and from modest annual dues paid by its Members. Financial donations, demonstrations of interest, and attendance at our speakers’ forums are essential to continuing this work. We find our activities to be satisfying and meaningful ways of participating in and maintaining our knowledge of international affairs and our global community.

We encourage everyone in our local community to join our work and take advantage of this opportunity by joining the UN Committee of New Canaan and by contributing to its efforts.
